I need a man :)

I am not a feminist in the way our culture would want. I believe a woman should get equal pay for equal work. I believe women should vote. I believe that while women are equals to men, they have different strengths and weaknesses.I believe that women are amazing creatures who have a range of innate gifts that men do not have.
What I want to do most is to have a bunch of babies and be a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother who takes care of her family. Very old-fashioned, I know.
I need a man for that :)
I want to be like my mother and my grandmothers...amazing women.
More on that later...

So I'm headed to see my lovely niece and nephew tommorrow.
I'm kinda excited about that, but at the same time I want to stay home :(
I got to see my boyfriend today, he cheered me up after having a spectacularly sucktastic day.

Mr policeman was very kind.
Won't be doing that again.

I was trying to avoid the crazy maniac drivers who were trying to kill me!

Man, see some folks say, "All truth is relative, it just depends on what you believe." You know, "hey man, ain't no way to know for sure who God is or what's really true." But that means you believe your own statement; that there's no way to know what's really true. You're saying that that statement is true. You're killing yourself. If what's true for you is true for you and what's true for me is true for me, what if my truth says your's is a lie? Is it still true? Come on man

See, there's this thing called "Secular Humanism", it says man is the source of all meaning and all purposing. You know what i'm saying? We're just the result of a big cosmic explosion. We don't really have a purpose or meaning, so we just come up with our own purpose. We're the source of our meaning and our purpose. How can a man, which is the product of chance, a finite being be the source of purpose and meaning? You can't! You're created with purpose

Look, man, some people say that God ain't real 'cause they don't see how a good God can exsist with all this evil in the world. If God is real then He should stop all this evil, 'cause He's all-powerful right? What is evil though man? It's anything that's against God. It's anything morally bad or wrong. It's murder, rape, stealing, lying, cheating. But if we want God to stop evil, do we want Him to stop it all or just a little bit of it? If He stops us from doing evil things, what about lying, or what about our evil thoughts? I mean, where do you stop, the murder level, the lying level, or the thinking level? If we want Him to stop evil, we gotta be consistent, we can't just pick and choose. That means you and I would be eliminated right? Because we think evil stuff. If that's true, we should be eliminated

Well, you really really need to read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. They are so good. Just read them, you should be glad you did.

So what does it mean when the guy who just ended things with you starts posting social interview questions on your best friend's walls on facebook telling them how gorgeous they are and telling them he would go out on dates with them? I know that was run-on but... Oh and then when you find out that within 36hrs he asked another girl out?

I'm back :)

Ohhhkayyyy.
So... I know its been awhile. Sorry!
The Superbowl happened and my team (the all-around awesome Colts) lost. It was sad. Tim Tebow did a commercial with Focus On the Family and there was a lot of hype about it. It was supposed to be pro-life. A bunch of women's groups were upset about it and protested. I'm just curious, why don't they protest the Go-Daddy ads? I mean, those are way more degrading to women then Tebow's mom explaining the choice she made in keeping her son. Just saying.
So on to the next topic.
Me and my guy decided it wasn't working... I don't really want to go into it here but I thought I probably say something. We are still friends though, yay us. I'm not heartbroken or whatever.
For all you girls out there, here is a little advice...
If you are holding hands with a guy and its painful for you... its probably not a good sign, just saying.
Don't let him give you his facebook password. I promise in this case, ignorance is bliss. It causes trouble you don't need to have.
Don't say I love you first.... even if you mean it.
I saw Dear John this weekend.... it was good... but I still like A Walk To Remember and The Notebook a lot better...
Alright thats all until I think of something else....

Falling for you

So like I mentioned in my last post, there is a guy. I wanted to write about him because I am so excited about this that I can't even think straight!
He likes me. Not because I'm pretty, but because I have a good heart. He loves God. He says the cutest things ever. He thinks I smell good. The more I find out the more I like him. Early on he told me he didn't think we should date because we don't see eachother enough (which is true) I told him that if he really liked me enough it doesn't matter how often we see eachother but also I can't date anyways....
So we saw eachother for the first time since he told me he likes me. The next day he called me to tell me that he had a "phenomenal time" and that "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you" and that he had been thinking about what I said and he had changed his mind and wanted to be my boyfriend.
Well. Thats just cute. I can't date though so we aren't dating, but its nice to know that he wants to. Anyways, I pretty much really like him.
Okay. Thats enough with the mushy stuff.
Last Sunday I gave my testimony for the Sunday school class. I cried three-fourths of the way through it, but it was good.
Okay so I read the Princess Bride. I have seen the movie and its really good, but the book is fantastic. READ IT! It is really good.

Hi.
Its been awhile now hasn't it?
You should listen to the song Smile by Uncle Kracker. It does in fact make me smile :D. I have been reading some Ted Dekker books, they are pretty intense. I'm planning a formal, it is going to be awesome. Speaking of which, a guy asked me to be his date to the formal last night. Okay, so he isn't exactly "just a guy", but can we say "no comment"? Lets just say I'm pretty happy.
I almost got my license on Wednesday, I did everything perfectly except I do a rolling stop at stop signs which is an automatic fail. Oh well..... next Wednesday I guess. The Chemistry kids got together on Monday which was great. I missed everybody!!!
